HOW TO APPLY

1. Check the TCSP booklet to see which scholarships best fit your experience and needs. Find the link to the booklet at the bottom of this page.

2. Prepare your materials. You will need:

   • A list of the colleges or vocational schools you are considering, along with their estimated cost of attendance

   • A list of your work, volunteer, or extracurricular experiences along with the dates you participated

   • A copy of your most recent transcript

   • The name and email address of one adult who will write a letter of recommendation. This should be someone who knows you well, for example, a teacher, principal, coach, pastor, or employer. TCSP does not accept letters of recommendations from family members.

   • Information on your financial need, including your family’s household income

   • Most scholarships also require a written essay; please check the TCSP booklet and read the prompts carefully

3. Create a Survey Monkey Apply (SMA) account, by clicking the link at the bottom of this page. The link will only be active when the program is open for applications.

4. Within TCSP’s SMA page, you will be asked to complete an eligibility survey; this helps match you with the scholarships that best fit you.

5. Your SMA account will show you a list of scholarships for which you can apply; click on any one to get started.

6. Be sure to have everything completed before the stated deadline. This is a hard cut-off and we are unable to make exceptions.
